How much water can a Diaper Handle?

Standard

The purpose of this experiment is to see how many bottles or ounces of water a diaper can handle.

The experiment was conceived because the children in the daycare have been curious  to know why the babies get changed as often as they do (every 2 hours except when there is a BM).

We use the Pampers size 5 diaper because of my love for pampers and it’s super absorbency, my toddler is not potty trained so he uses the size 5. I tried Huggies in the past but, both my children were allergic, it leaked more and the diaper always had a foul smell. So for years I swear by Pampers or the Members Mark sold at Sam’s Club.

You can wear it on your head..

That’s it…2.5 bottles – there is not doubt a diaper can hold a lot of water

Of course we will not keep children in their diaper until it’s soaking but, it was great addition to our many experiments.  As usual the children were intrigued by yet another science experiment:)
